Article Marketing Can Bring Top Results To Your Blog

Let’s assume you just started up your own business or website. You are already aware the only way for the business to succeed rather than fail is for you to promote it. You can do this if you have deep pockets by paying for advertising or alternatively for free through article marketing.

The first thing you should do is research your article marketing topic. There are quite a few good keyword tools available to help you choose which keyword phrases will bring you visitors but also you need to make sure there is little competition as well or you will not get good rankings at the search engines. Your targeted phrases need to be relevant to your sites topic and be getting plenty of search queries but not tons of results. Read a more detailed post about keyword tools for a better understanding.

Once you have researched your keyword phrases you will need to use it in your articles title, a few times at least in the first paragraph, a couple of times in the body and once again at the end for best results.

Always write for the reader when article marketing. In other words write it for people, not Google. Yes you can help it rank well by research and keyword tools but it’s no good being number 1 in Google if no one reads the article. Keep it easy to read and to the point by using bullets.

Once completed, read it severall times and make sure it is written correctly and that you have your targeted phrases in the right places. Once you have checked it, read it again, a few times. If something doesn’t quite read correctly, rewrite the part and remember while you may be an expert on the subject, your reader is not.

The ending of your article is the most important {part-section} yet most who use article marketing miss this point completely. Your article gives the reader info that they have hunted out at the search engines but now you want them to get yet more information by clicking thru your blog. Make it clear the benefits of clicking your link and visiting your own site. Simply asking for the click doesn’t cut it any more. Explain to them exactly why they should and what they can expect to find: a follow up article that goes into more detail, a discussion on the topic etc.

Finally be particular where you submit your articles and slightly rewrite your article every time you submit it to a directory or blog feeder. Submit the first version to ezinearticles.com and wait for them to accept it before submitting it to similar article directories. This is because they are the busiest so get you most visitors but they never articles that have already been posted elsewhere.

Article marketing is still by far the best means of promoting a site without spending big money on PPC. Just 1 article every day means around close to a hundred articles on perhaps thousands of other sites in just three months from now all with links aimed at your blog.

When you see the great results and want to go to another level with your article marketing have a look at submitting your articles to Article Marketing Automation. This takes a little more work but the benefits last a lot longer.
