Article directories are still one of the most reliable and popular methods of getting links to your site by submitting your own link embedded into the article. In other words, article marketing. You can take the process further. Using some spinning software you simply have to put in a little time and effort to think up enough alternative sentences, phrases and words to make the resulting articles unique. Obviously, the more work you put into changing the original article, the more unique your articles will be. Alternate article titles will be needed to accompany the selection of spun article bodies, not to mention the required summary boxes and author bios.

Once you’ve created a host of new spun articles it’s just a matter of visiting the various article directories and submitting them manually. Taking notes of what you are doing is vital. The links won’t be effetive until the article is indexed in the search engines so sending links to your articles is crucial.
